For the Netherlands, PCB operated for more than 10 years with a distributor. As of January 1, 2011, PCB will start its own operation in the Netherlands. In order to optimize their successful, growing organization with a sales office in the Netherlands, PCB is looking for a commercial and dynamic Sales Executive.

The position will be responsible for the further development and extension of the sales activities in the Netherlands. The goal of the new Sales Executive will be both to intensify existing client contacts as well to generate new business, with existing and especially new clients and to further improve the market presence within the Netherlands.

The Sales Executive will be a new and key strategic position in the Netherlands. This position will be a stand alone position but the Sales Executive will closely cooperate with the European Sales Office. The person will be responsible for an active and effective management of all parts of the sales process of the different sensors in the Netherlands. With a special focus on R&D and Original Equipment Manufacturers, the Sales Executive will expand business in all markets.

The Sales Executive will be aware of developments in the market, evaluate risks and opportunities and where necessary recommends improvements and presents proposals to the International Sales Manager in the USA, related to the selling process, the products and clients and the business in general.

The Sales Executive will play a vital role in bringing the business in, with a very active presence at client and prospect side. The person is able to build up a strong relationship with (potential) clients and shows a hand-on approach to its commercial contacts, in order to become a recognized expert in all relevant sensors.

The Sales Executive will either set up an office or works house based. He / she will book its own meetings by the phone, do customer visits and advises about the products, and will solve possible problems. The main focus will be set at customer contacts and expanding sales.

Furthermore, the Sales Executive is expected to define and implement suitable client strategies and develop marketing and business planning. Of course, exploring new markets is a key theme, as is developing relations with prospective clients.

The Sales Executive will establish the commercial budget and realize the sales targets. He / she will monitor the requirements of the market and advice on existing and new products and possibilities. The position will ensure the right commercials actions are taken.

The Sales Executive will build up excellent relationship with the major customers (Key Accounts) and further develop PCB’s presence in the market. He / she will prepare the marketing plans and product strategy.

The Sales Executive will be supported by the European Sales Office in Germany, providing services for marketing, quotations, order fulfillment, invoicing and collection. The position reports regularly to the International Sales Manager in the USA and will visit headquarters in Depew, New York, few times a year.

The ideal candidate is an active and commercially strong sales person with a proven experience in the world of vibration and acoustics and sensors. Together with a positive personality and a healthy sales ambition, this person will give a great contribution to the further development of the business of PCB in the Netherlands.

Good command of languages, fluent in Dutch, good in English, preferably understanding of the German language.

Relevant technical education, preferably courses in vibration and acoustics, combined with good commercial insight.

The ideal candidate has an attractive and proven advice and sales experience in sensors or similar business. This experience is gained within a commercial and professional company inside an international surrounding.

The right person should have an entrepreneurial attitude and experience in working with own local responsibility. The ideal candidate is used to work with major accounts, preferably OEM accounts, and be able to take own initiative and decisions.

Familiar with Microsoft Office and preferably Salesforce.com.
